The Fujifilm recipe I used most in South Africa

Do you know that feeling you get when you see a photo that is so captivating and beautiful that makes you want to frame it up in your wall? Well today I am here to share some of my favorite photos from my South Africa trip and I will share the recipe I used for this photo.

Taking a photo that impresses people is hard to do, but taking one that impresses one self is even harder. Photographers are always looking for the best next photo. Looking for great lighting, looking for a perfect subject and searching for the right composition. This takes time, effort and many many photos. A photographer can become good at this by practicing but a good photo is not always achieved right out of the camera. That is not the case with the Fujifilm x100v.

These photos have that look thanks to a recipe. A Fujifilm recipe is a custom combination of in-camera settings saved on a Fujifilm digital camera to produce a specific, stylized JPEG image straight out of the box without needing computer edits. I have enjoyed using this camera so much and it is thanks to Orlando, a friend of mine who I borrowed it from for this trip.

The photos I was able to take with this camera reduced the time I have to look at my computer editing photos and also reminded me that when I started taking photos it was a hobby, something that brought me pleasure and happiness. That is a feeling I want every time I pick up a camera, and the x100v is the one.
